K.W. Supply manufactures all
types of magnets and operating systems to lift and transport
steel plate or slab, pipes, coils and I-beams. A choice can
be made to lift either one or multiple plates/slabs for transport
at a time.
These magnets can be delivered
with fixed or adjustable spreaders and poles, allowing for
individual rotation of the magnets.
We also build spreader magnets, slab turning
magnets and magnets for hot slab handling. The magnet setup
comes with pushbutton or wireless controls, or can be integrated
into the existing production system.
These systems can also be equipped with emergency
power supplies that provide immediate battery power to magnets
to safely hold loads for 30 minutes in the event of a power
failure.
We manufacture and install this equipment
in amongst others, blast furnace works, rolling steel mills
and companies in the slab and radius steel industry.
